Dimitrios Kostomenos was one of the first physicians that joined the IVF Athens Center team, in 2009, and played a critical role in setting up the operations at the Centre’s Unit of Assisted Reproduction.

He completed his undergraduate studies at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Greece and received his formal training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Areteion Hospital in Athens, Greece. During his almost 20-year exposure to Reproductive Medicine he has worked as an associate Gynecologist and Obstetrician for acknowledged Greek maternity and assisted reproduction practices both in public and private sector.

Mr Kostomenos has published in several scientific journals and has lectured extensively at national and international meetings on Infertility, Assisted Reproduction and IVF.
