Maria Sakellariou is a certified Embryologist by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE) and an ESHRE certified Semen Analyst.

She is the Co-founder of the IVF Athens Center to which she has been offering her high-caliber expertise as Chief Embryologist after for 13 years of working experience in private maternity and IVF clinics. Among them was a pioneering medical reproductive clinic in Greece, which was affiliated with “PIVET Medical Centre”, Perth, Australia.

Mrs Sakellariou holds a PhD from the Department of Biology of National and Capodistrian University of Athens, in which she completed her graduate studies. She has been lecturing since 2010, including the ESHRE’s annual seminar in Greece on “Semen Basic Analysis” and the Postgraduate Program on Reproductive Medicine of “Alexandra” Hospital, Athens, Greece.

She has also lectured in numerous national conferences and has presented her wide research work at national and international symposia and journals on Reproductive Medicine.
