Altana Bekiari graduated from the Medical School of the National & Capodistrian University of Athens where she is undertaking a PhD on “Anesthesia in cesarean cuts”. She completed her residency in Anesthesiology at Areteion Hospital, Athens, Greece and before joining IVF Athens Center she worked as medical trainee for public and private organizations. Mrs Bekiari is also a long-term associate of the History Lab of Athens Medical School.
